How To Make a Delicious Zero-Added Sugar Berry Jam
Are you looking for a delicious, homemade, zero-sugar jam that can be made with any local, seasonal berries or frozen berries?
Developed by Grace of Grace’s Food Lab, this jam recipe is naturally low in carbs and sweetened only with plant-based natural sweeteners.
Ingredients
- 16 ounces fresh or frozen berries (approximately 3 ½ cups)
- ¼ cup granular erythritol plant-based zero-calorie sweetener
- ¼ cup granular allulose plant-based zero-calorie sweetener
- 4 teaspoons pectin
- ¼ cup cold water
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
Instructions
- Add the berries, erythritol, allulose, pectin, and water to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir gently until the berries become soft and easily mashable with a fork (it will likely be boiling or close to boiling).
- Remove from heat and mash with a fork to achieve a jam-like texture. Add chia seeds and stir. Refrigerate in an airtight container for at least 3 hours to allow it to set.
