She completed residency in internal medicine at Memorial Hermann Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston from 2017- 2020. Dr. Abelhad is board certified by American Board of Internal Medicine, Adult Society of Echocardiography and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and has been with Ochsner Health since 2020.
