Katie White is the Injury Prevention Coordinator at Ochsner LSU Health’s Trauma Department in Shreveport. She is a graduate of LSU in Baton Rouge and LSUHS, School of Allied Health’s Physician Assistant program and loves the preventative aspects of medicine. Educating and inspiring others to make healthier choices regarding their health and those important to them is what motivates her. Guiding others on preventing injury is her current focus.
Prior to joining Ochsner, Katie has previously worked as a registered dietitian and then as a PA for a cardiology group.
She is a wife, mother and athlete who enjoys skiing, hiking, swimming, cycling and triathlons. She also loves to travel and watch sporting events.
