Emily Straub, PT, DPT is a physical therapist at Ochsner Health who specializes in rehabilitation for people undergoing cancer treatment, organ transplant and neurological disorders.
Emily is a New Orleans native who has been working as a physical therapist for nearly two decades. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish language and literature as well as her clinical doctorate in physical therapy from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After graduation, Emily lived in New York City where she primarily worked in acute oncology care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In 2017, Emily moved back home and has been working for Ochsner Therapy & Wellness in outpatient physical therapy since.
In her free time Emily enjoys travel, staying active and spending time with family and friends.
