Whether you’re looking to dial back on animal-based saturated fat or simply incorporate more plant-based alternatives, making the swap from traditional half-and-half to plant-based coffee creamers can trim 2 grams of saturated fat from every ounce.

I recently picked up eight different plant-based half-and-half options from my local grocery store. All of them have a clean label and no added sugar; however, texture and flavor vary greatly. Read on to see how they stacked up in a taste test.

Califia Farms Unsweetened Better Half

  • Ingredients include almond milk, coconut cream, acacia gum, gellan gum
