Rachael Rayes is a certified speech-language pathologist who earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Southeastern Louisiana University. Her professional memberships include the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
Rachael has diverse experience treating speech and language disorders, including those brought on by ALS, Parkinson's disease, head and neck cancer and traumatic brain injury. She works with patients to help treat issues like aphasia, apraxia of speech, auditory processing, cognitive-communication disorders, dysarthria, oral-pharyngeal dysphagia, social communication disorders, motor speech disorders, stuttering, fluency and voice disorders.
