Senior Clinical Dietitian
Katie Kensinger earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She also completed her dietetic internship and Master of Science Degree in Nutrition and Food Systems Management from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Katie’s interest in diabetes management through diet, exercise and education is what set her on the path to obtaining a degree in nutrition. Katie’s special interests include diabetes specialty, insulin pump therapy, continuous glucose monitoring therapy, and nutrition therapy. She currently practices as a Diabetes Educator/Registered Dietitian at Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans, Diabetes Management Program.
