In her own words, Dr. Elsea says “I became a doctor because I want to help others. I have typically worked with underserved populations such as rural or inner-city populations. I have a special interest in diabetes, rheumatology and women’s health. I choose to be a partner with my patients regarding their health care. We make decisions together about what is best for them and their current situations. I try to be very responsive to their needs.”
New Orleans has always held a special place in Dr. Elsea’s heart and she and her family are thrilled to be part of this community.
