Meet Michael Bacon, MD, is a primary care physician specializing in family medicine at Ochsner St. Anne in Raceland, Louisiana and Ochsner Family Doctor Clinic in Raceland. Dr. Bacon believes in shared decision making when it comes to his patients and their care. He prides himself in his ability to listen to patients and devote quality time during their visit. Dr. Bacon says, "I am a big advocate for shared decision making."

Dr. Bacon received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2017 and completed his residency at Lake Charles Memorial Health System in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He has been on staff at Ochsner since August 2020. Dr. Bacon specializes in family medicine and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
