
Alicia Cool, MD
Dermatology
Dr. Cool is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed her dermatology residency training at the University of Michigan, followed by a procedural dermatology fellowship at Yale University. She is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of the International Immunosuppression & Transplant Skin Cancer Collaborative, as well as the Society for Dermatologic Hospitalists. Dr. Cool serves as site director and mentor for rotating Tulane University and Louisiana State University dermatology residents at Ochsner. Dr. Cool has been on staff at Ochsner since 2018 and has been practicing dermatology since 2008. She enjoys all aspects of general, surgical and inpatient dermatology, with a special clinical interest in the care of transplant and cancer patients. In her spare time, she enjoys jazz music, gardening and spending time with her toddler and rescue dog.
