Dr. Boehm attended the University of New Orleans where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2003. He then studied medicine at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 2010. He traveled to San Francisco, CA and Charlottesville, VA to complete his Cardiology fellowship at both Kaiser Permanente Medical Center and University of Virginia Health System. Before joining the Ochsner team, Dr. Boehm was the Center Medical Director and Cardiologist at JenCare Senior Medical Center. He also was an Assistant Professor of Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Tulane School of Medicine. Dr. Boehm has a variety of publications, his most recent being a case series on coronary stents with Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, an international cardiovascular disease journal.
