Dr. Pavan Malur is a native of Baton Rouge and received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He then completed an Internal Medicine internship and residency at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. Following that, he finished Cardiology fellowship training at Drexel University/Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Malur is Board Certified in Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology and Internal Medicine. Areas of medical interest include preventative healthcare, obesity and weight loss, and cardiac rehabilitation.

Dr Malur is Great he talks with patients in a mind set that you will understand what he is explaining ….and has a great sense of humor…. Knows his stuff and takes a real interest in your issues… if there are any ? He goes over and above what he has to do to make you satisfied and happy ….to have you understand…. This was my first appointment with Dr. Malur. He was friendly and seemed very knowledgeable and interested in listening to all of the issues I've had this year, so as to make an informed assessment of my health. My only complaint with Dr. Malur is that he had a tendency to speak very quickly at times. Overall though, it was a good experience and I will continue to see Dr. Malur for my cardiology needs.
