Dr. Celestre got his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles. He then went on to Medical School at the University of California, San Diego. He completed his internship at the University of California, Los Angeles: Department of General Surgery and his residency in Orthopedic surgery at University of California, Los Angeles. He is fellowship trained in Spine at the Norton Leatherman Spine Center, Louisville, Kentucky. He has been practicing in Richmond, VA and recently added his first child to his family. His clinical interests include Adult and Pediatric Spinal Deformity, Tumors, Infections and Metastatic Disease, Trauma, Degenerative Conditions including Cervical Myelopathy, Lumbar Stenosis, Degenerative Spondylolisthesis, Cervical Artificial Disc Replacement and Laminoplasty. He is also a candidate member of the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS), and a member of the SRS Historical Committee and the North American Spine Society Resident and Fellow Education Committee.
