Lisa Dahlke
New Orleans Local Food Advocate
Lisa Dahlke is an enthusiastic local foods advocate who hopes to inspire people to grow their own food and support local farmers. She runs a blog called Why NOLA Farms, where she shares the news and stories of New Orleans farmers, food producers, and gardeners. Lisa has also been involved with the Eat Local Challenge and has helped organize their annual urban farm bike rides for the past four years.
Lisa is originally from Dayton, Minnesota, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN.
