Dr. Brown, a native of New Orleans, graduated summa cum laude in biology from Xavier University of Louisiana. She earned her Optometry degree as well as her Master of Science in Vision Science from The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where she graduated magna cum laude. She is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry for treatment and management of ocular disease and holds an optometric license with therapeutic privileges in Louisiana.
