Julie Danna, MD

Dr. Julie Danna specializes in dermatology and sees patients at Ochsner Health Center - Metairie. Dr. Danna is a native New Orleanian and attended the Academy of the Sacred Heart High School. After graduation, she was the recipient of the Ochsner Future Physician Award. She received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from LSU Medical School in New Orleans and went on to complete her internship and dermatology residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Danna has expertise in general, pediatric and surgical dermatology. She has a particular interest in melanoma and offers a monthly clinic for melanoma specific patients only. She is a member of the Women's Dermatologic Society and the American Academy of Dermatology.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Danna. I've seen many providers for my skin over the years, and she has been the most empathetic and innovative with trying new regimens to help my skin. I'm always concerned she'll leave Ochsner like so many other provider seemingly do, and I'll have to begin the process all over again.
