Dr. Gia Tyson, a native of Louisiana, earned her medical degree at Harvard Medical School, completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins and her fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Baylor in Houston. Most recently, Gia completed an advanced Fellowship in Transplant Hepatology co-sponsored by Tulane University and Ochsner Clinic Foundation. Dr. Tyson will divide her time between Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans and Baton Rouge where she will practice general hepatology, transplant hepatology as well as gastroenterology.
