Debbie Starring earned her BS in physical therapy from University of Mississippi Medical Center and completed her post professional MS in PT from University of Alabama in Birmingham with an emphasis in orthopedics. Starring joined the Ochsner Therapy and Wellness team in 2015. She is a staff physical therapist at the Elmwood outpatient facility.
She has practiced physical therapy for 36 years with a majority of her practice in outpatient orthopedic care with a special interest in SI dysfunction and foot and ankle. She was certified in dry needling in 2014 and was introduced to cupping therapy at that time. She introduced the cupping therapy to the staff at Ochsner Therapy and Wellness at Elmwood offering the additional modality in the care of patients.
