Dr. Bui is a New Orleans native returning to Ochsner following his training. He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center School of Medicine. Dr. Bui went on to complete a general surgery internship at University of California in San Francisco, followed by a neurosurgery residency at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Bui completed his pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at The Children's Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham.
Dr. Bui's areas of interest include cranial expertise including endoscopy, minimally invasive cranial procedures, complex shunting and oncology. His spinal expertise includes spinal instrumentation, tethered cord, spinal tumors and syrinx, spasticity.
