Dr. Christopher Haas joins Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport as the first physician specializing in dermatology at the institution for more than a decade. He is focused on continuity and an integrated approach for optimal care. Born in Monroe, Louisiana, Dr. Haas received his medical degree and completed a dermatology internship at LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport. He completed his residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Haas specializes in complicated medical dermatology, such as alopecia and inflammatory skin disease; multimodal skin cancer treatments, including medical, surgical and photodynamic; chronic disease management; pediatric dermatology, including vascular lesions and acne; disease in skin color, including keloids and disorders of pigmentation; and procedural and aesthetic dermatology.
