
Chandana Keshavamurthy, MD
Chandana Keshavamurthy, MD, joined the rheumatology department at Ochsner in 2017. She completed her medical schooling in India and residency in Queens, Mt. Sinai, New York, where she was awarded the best intern and resident awards. She then did her fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences at Little Rock. She served the underserved population for three years in Yuma, Arizona, one of the busiest Marine Corps Air Stations. She was a teaching faculty there for residents pursuing their family practice residency. Her clinical interests include systemic lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, polymyositis and vasculitis. Dr. Keshavamurthy is also a senior lecturer and assistant clinical professor at the Ochsner Clinical School at The University of Queensland, Australia, and the medical clerkship director for rheumatology.
