Andalib Danandeh, MD
Dr. Danandeh grew up in Southern California. He completed his undergraduate studies in biological sciences (with concentrations in anthropology and African-American studies) at the University of California Irvine, where he also competed as a collegiate rower.
After graduating, Dr. Danandeh was involved in Parkinson’s research at the UC Irvine School of Medicine and later moved to Mississippi to complete a master's degree in medical sciences at Mississippi College. He attended medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Following medical school, he was involved in a Department of Defense-funded PTSD research study at the University of California Irvine School of Medicine. Dr. Danandeh also completed a family medicine residency program in Meridian, which chiefly practices out of Ochsner/Rush Hospital by the name of East Central Mississippi Health Network.
Dr. Danandeh enjoys hiking, kayaking and basketball as well as going on road trips off the beaten path and camping.
