It’s Carnival Time: King Cake Swap Outs

It’s Carnival Time: King Cake Swap Outs

Even a small slice of king cake has more than 300 sugary calories, and many of us have trouble keeping those slices ‘moderate’.  If king cake is one of your weaknesses during Carnival season, we’ve got a couple ways to help satisfy your cravings for a fraction of the calories, each available from locally-owned New Orleans companies. Try satisfying that appetite without sacrificing the taste!

1. The Green Fork King Cake (cinnamon or blueberry)
