Dr. Edward McCoul is a board-certified otolaryngologist with specialized training in the management of complex sinus and nasal problems. With expertise in endoscopic surgery, Dr. McCoul can treat many diseases with minimally-invasive techniques and has pioneered new treatments for common ear, nose and throat disorders. He also collaborates on the neurosurgical care of patients with tumors at the base of the brain. Dr. McCoul has a special interest in the effect of disease on a patients quality of life and incorporates this into his practice to optimize treatment outcomes. Dr. McCoul earned his medical degree and two master's degrees from Tulane University and subsequently completed residency and fellowship training in New York City. Dr. McCoul is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Rhinologic Society. He is an author of more than 125 peer-reviewed medical articles and book chapters and is a speaker at national meetings on the subjects of rhinology and skull base surgery.
